Kohl's In-Store Program

Objective:
With a keen understanding of the past and an eye towards the future, Art Zulu set out to re-launch Hang Ten to once again dominate the marketplace it gave birth to.

Program:
Art Zulu created a rich presentation with a new style guide which details the brand philosophy as well as proper logo usage, original art-work for ad campaigns, digital packaging and retail store concepts and signage. 

Using vintage prints dating back to the origins of the company, Art Zulu designed a complete fashion collection including accessories, home furnishings, shoes and sports products to capture the original history and style of the brand while expanding the brand into extreme biking, skating and snowboarding.  

Art Zulu developed a user-friendly website that unites culture, music and entertainment. While sharing user-generated videos of the latest surfing maneuvers, consumers can listen to the music of new bands and view the latest Hang Ten Fashions.  

Results:
These key selling points allowed Art Zulu to successfully launch Hang Ten as a direct-to-retail brand exclusively sold at Kohl’s. In the first few years at Kohl’s, Hang Ten has become a top seller for the retailer, generating millions of dollars in sales annually.
